Porsche Boxster Spider Paint Protection Film

A beautiful Porsche Boxster Spyder (981) came in for a Bespoke "Track Pack" PPF package using our Premium 12 year ProFilm UCP12 Product

The Film is Self healing from swirl marks and light scratches as well as having a hydrophobic top coat.

On this particular vehicle the track pack included

- Full Frontal PPF (bumper/bonnet/wings/A-Pillar(Windscreen Hoop) and Mirrors)

- Side Skirts

- Rear Arch Piece

- Rear Bumper Piece

As usual for a modern car with good patterns, we plotted everything on our Graphtec FC9000 using ProFilm's Leading Pattern Software to minimise trimming on the vehicle.

The patterns are already quite good but, we went the extra mile to try and create as invisible of installation as possible.

We removed the headlights as well as the vents in the side skirts and manually adjusted the patterns to add extra "wrap" into these areas, meaning the film is fully hidden behind these items when re-fitted, creating a truly invisible installation.

Of course the bonnet was also fully wrapped as well as the wings, both into the "frunk" , into the wheel arch and around the trailing edge. (Please, take a look through the photos in the showcase)

The fuel cap filler was removed and a custom piece installed to wrap this edge fully as well as wrapping the front-wing piece into the fuel fill recess.

Once all of the film was applied, we applied Labocosmetica HPC Pro ceramic coating (which is available only to accredited detailers) . While the UCP12 PPF already has a hydrophobic top coat, adding the ceramic adds further slickness making dirt quite literally fall off.
