Your brand new pride and joy has already had quite a journey. You may be surprised how many defects get past the factory floor quality control teams and, worse still, are caused during the PDI (pre-delivery inspection) at the dealership. Prior to handover to their proud new owner, new vehicles are poorly washed, often multiple times, with harsh chemicals and improper methods, resulting in heavy marking. Unfortunately, most dealerships are simply not equipped to prepare cars to the standard both we as detailers and you as the new owner would expect.

As part of our New Car Protection Detail we can not only inspect the car fully for defects and correct them to the highest standard possible, but give your car the best protection, which not only means it will be easier to clean in your ownership but will increase it’s future resale value by ensuring the paint is protected long-term.
We can cater for your vehicle to be delivered directly to us from your dealership, ideally before they even remove any of the protective wrapping in which the car leaves the factory, minimising the chance of the dealership damaging the paint by removing these or washing the car incorrectly. The vehicle is then polished in 2-3 stages as necessary to ensure a flawless finish and fully coated with ceramic coatings on the paint, wheels, glass and interior to give your vehicle full protection from day one.
The Process
The overall process is similar to our correction detail, where we start by carefully washing the car using the two bucket method, and remove any bonded contamination (Iron, Tar, Tree sap etc)
The wash and decontamination phase
We carry out a thorough inspection of all parts of the vehicle to ensure the dealerships inspection is up to the required standard and if any defects are discovered, we can assist you in working with the dealer to rectify these.
Engine bay being cleaned
At this point the vehicle is polished to perfection to ensure a flawless paint finish free of any defects, swirls or marks.
The interior receives a vacuum and clean with any loose items being collected and returned to the owner. Glass internally and externally is thoroughly cleaned, with dashboards and door cards being wiped down and dressed with a natural finish non silicon dressing. Unpainted / textured plastic trim are also dressed.
The exhaust tips are polished, tyres are dressed and final wipe downs completed prior to handing back to the owner.
Unlike other dealer-applied "long lasting” coatings which can cost hundreds of pounds, but which are applied in just a few hours with minimal preparation, we can give your vehicle the time and attention it deserves to give it the best start in life.

How long does it take and what is the cost?
It generally takes 2-4 days to complete a New Car Protection Detail.
Based on a typical sized car (eg: Audi A4) a New Car Protection starts from £649
A smaller car (eg: VW Polo) would be slightly less, and a larger vehicle (eg: Range Rover) would be slightly more, due to the time required.
With our standard packages you receive the necessary machine polishing to restore the paint to a truly “better than new” finish and apply a 2-3 year ceramic coating such as Gyeon MOHS Evo or Labocosmetica SAM (2-3 year coating).
Popular upgrades include full exterior hydrophobic glass coatings, full wheel (face and barrel) ceramic coating as well as interior fabric and leather protection application, creating a comprehensive level of protection for your new vehicle to give it the best start in life.
